Floor signs and path marking
During an emergency evacuation, in blackout or smoke-filled conditions, floor mounted signs and path marking is crucial to keeping evacuees along the escape route. In such conditions, it proven that most evacuees’ attention is pointed to lower locations, so installing JALITE photoluminescent floor safety signs and path marking is vital. JALITE floor mounted safety signs and path marking are components as part of a non- electrical safety way guidance system as per BS ISO 16069:2017. Our floor mounted escape route safety signs are available with or without the fire exit supplementary text and feature directional arrows. We also offer photoluminescent floor disc markers that further reinforce the direction of travel along the escape route, regardless of lighting conditions. These safety signs are designed according to graphical symbol for the running man as referenced in BS EN ISO 7010. Our photoluminescent path marking suitable for all flooring types including carpet, is also installed in many locations including offices.
