Assembly Point
Assembly points are designated areas where evacuees can seek refuge after an emergency evacuation. Assembly points are where auditing information is collected, including missing occupants. This is then reported to emergency services, especially firefighter and rescue services. The route and location of the assembly point must therefore be conspicuous. JALITE assembly point signs are designed according to the graphical symbol in BS EN ISO 7010 (E007). Our assembly point signs also conform to BS 3864-1, for the safety green colour and square shape. Our assembly point signs are available in photoluminescent for visibility in all lighting conditions, with other material options available too. For organisations with larger amounts of personnel JALITE photoluminescent designated number and letter component signs, can be used alongside the assembly point sign. This reduces the risks of injury or harm as a result of too many evacuees congregating around one assembly point. This will also aid the auditing of evacuees.
