Current legislation requires that organisations must ensure that adequate consideration is taken for those that are challenged in anyway. This specifically includes those with mobility difficulties, the hard of hearing, visually impaired, and persons with mental health difficulties. In order to meet risk assessment requirements, responsible persons must consider how those with disabilities will progress along the means of escape. Appropriate signing for the safe egress of these persons is integral. All JALITE photoluminescent escape route signage for the mobility impaired, and those of other difficulties, conforms to graphical symbols in BS EN ISO 7010. These safety signs allow these persons to locate designated areas to call or wait for assistance, during an emergency evacuation. This includes JALITE safe area, ski pad evacuation signs, emergency evacuation chair, that assure life safety in all lighting conditions. Our signs also conform to BS ISO 3864-1 for the safety green colour and shapes of signage. JALITE photoluminescent refuge and disability impaired specific safety signs are available as symbol only, with supplementary text and directional arrows as per BS 5499-10 and BS 5499-4
