Organisations must inform occupants of their areas that they are under surveillance, and that their personal data is being collected whilst within that area. This is especially important since the introduction of GDPR legislation- the data protection act 2018, where responsible persons that collect personal data must do so fairly, lawfully, and transparently. JALITE CCTV signs are available and printed on white self-adhesive vinyl, in different for the varied viewing distances. Occupants of some areas should also be warned of security systems in place, that could prove harmful if not warned against. For example, some buildings are protected with surrounding barbed wire, and therefore must warn of possible harm or injury if this information is not follows.
